Bar Al Hikman is located in the middle of Oman's eastern coast in the Al Wasta Governorate (Central Region), 500 kilometers south of Muscat. The area is characterized by being protected from wetlands and pristine beaches with complex ecosystems.
These islands provide a safe haven for migratory birds from the Sultanate of Oman and Southeast Asia. The Bar Al Hikman area also includes the largest pristine natural concentration of mangrove trees in the Sultanate, along the coast of Mahout Island in Ghubbat Hashish, where the total area of these trees is estimated at approximately 162 hectares.
It was called the “Maldives of Oman” because of the formation of small beaches during the movement of tides. Not only that, but its white sand and clear blue waters, which are considered one of the most beautiful spots for water skiing enthusiasts, will also remind you of the Maldives.
