Comprehensive change and higher level of equipment

The fifth generation of the car, which bears the code name NQS, has a bold appearance that reflects Kia’s new identity. The car is available on the European continent in a version with a shorter wheelbase, which was also reflected in the overall length of the car. It is available with a four-cylinder engine, the first with a capacity of 2 liters or 2.5 liters, in addition to a hybrid version. (Hybrid) equipped with a 1.6 liter engine and a 60 horsepower electric motor. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch screen and a customizable instrument screen of the same size facing the driver.

The fifth generation of the Kia Sportage is considered a qualitative leap in design and is in line with the new launch of Kia that it announced last year. Its most prominent feature is the front fascia bearing the name "Tiger's Nose", in which the large ventilation grille overlaps with the LED lights, which are separated by shiny chrome lines.

The curved lines that characterized the previous generation have largely disappeared in the new fifth generation, as the sharpness of the design can be seen in the side lines and the back of the car, with LED lights extending to the rear wings, with the new Kia logo in the middle.

The car has metal wheels with elegant designs, ranging in size from 17 to 19 inches depending on the category, and the last size is available in a distinctive design that combines silver and black colors.

Passenger compartment

What distinguishes the passenger compartment is the mixture of colors used in the car seats and the dashboard, in addition to the rest of the parts, such as the door linings and the roof, where the colors overlap in a distinctive way, as two colors were not limited to just two colors, but a third color was added in some parts of the door linings to achieve clear visual harmony.

The method of arranging the control keys on the car’s dashboard took due care, as they are directed to the car driver in a thoughtful manner, including, for example, the keys located in the middle divider between the two front seats.

The cabin is equipped with dual screens measuring 12.3 inches, each of which is used for the entertainment and navigation system and for controlling various car devices, including air conditioning and others. The second is for the meters and can be customized according to the driver’s requirements.
